Property styling gets your home sale-ready. Whether the house is empty or you’re still living in it, our stylists bring in the furniture, art and finishing touches that make buyers stop scrolling and book an inspection.
Decor 2 Sell has styled more than 5,000 Melbourne homes over 12 years, from our base in Derrimut. We use our own team, our own trucks and our own furniture, and can usually install within 3 days of booking.
Styling for vacant homes
An empty house hides its best features. We furnish each room to show buyers how the space works: where the sofa goes, how big the main bedroom really is, and that the dining table fits. You get a complete, coordinated look ready for photos and open homes.
Styling for occupied homes
Selling while you live there? Our partial styling works with your existing furniture. We:
- Edit and rearrange what’s already in the room
- Bring in key pieces where they’re needed, such as a dining setting, bed linen or an occasional chair
- Add artwork, cushions, throws, plants and accessories
- Leave you with a home that’s still liveable through the campaign
Partial styling is quoted on what your home needs, so you only pay for the pieces we bring in.

Styling starts from $2,000 for a one-bedroom home with living and dining areas. Larger homes start from $2,200 to $2,600, depending on bedrooms and living areas. Outdoor areas and studies are quoted separately. See full package prices.
Property styling vs home staging: what’s the difference?
In Melbourne, the two terms are used almost interchangeably. Both mean presenting your home so it sells faster and for more. How much does property styling cost in Melbourne?
Full styling packages start from $2,000 for a one-bedroom home with living and dining areas, and most 3–4 bedroom homes are $2,300 to $2,600. Partial styling for lived-in homes is quoted on what your home needs.
Can you style my home while I’m still living in it?
Yes. Our partial styling works with your existing furniture and adds the key pieces, art and accessories that make each room photograph well, while keeping the home liveable.
How long do I keep the furniture?
Our standard hire is 6 weeks: a 4-week campaign plus a 2-week extension. Longer hire periods are available.
How soon can you style my property?
Usually within 3 days of booking, depending on our schedule. Styling on the day takes 30 minutes to 2 hours depending on the size of the home.
