Kew is one of Melbourne’s most sought-after suburbs, known for its schools, parks and tree-lined streets. Buyers here expect quality, and they compare every home against well-presented neighbours. An empty or dated-looking room stands out for the wrong reasons.
Decor 2 Sell stages and styles townhouses and family homes across Kew and the inner east with our own furniture and install team, usually within 3 days of booking.

A Kew townhouse we staged
This townhouse has a living room with steel-framed windows, an open dining area that looks through glass doors to a paved courtyard, timber floors and generous bedrooms. It is a well-designed home, but the rooms needed furniture with enough presence to match the address.
We chose a curved boucle sofa, two deep brown armchairs and a round marble coffee table for the living room, with a large abstract artwork and a tall fiddle-leaf fig. The oval stone-look dining table seats six and faces the courtyard, where we set an outdoor lounge. The main bedroom has a patterned rug and warm brown linen, and the child’s bedroom is dressed simply in navy and white.

Presenting a Kew home for sale
- Furniture that matches the price. Quality pieces at the right scale show buyers the home is worth what is being asked.
- Family buyers. Many are buying for the school zones, so we style children’s bedrooms as well as the main suite.
- Courtyards and terraces. We furnish outdoor areas so they show as a second living space.
Full staging for vacant Kew homes
Empty homes are hard for buyers to read. We furnish the living areas, dining, bedrooms and outdoor spaces with our own furniture, art, rugs and linen, so buyers can see the size and purpose of every room. More about home staging.
Property styling for lived-in homes
Still living there? We work with the furniture you have, then add the pieces, art and linen that lift each room, and keep the home practical for daily life during the campaign. More about property styling.
