A renovated Kings Park home we staged
This older home has been renovated, with new timber floors, downlights, a fresh kitchen with a dark tiled splashback, and wide windows along the living room. It has kept its arched doorways, which give it character. Empty, though, the long living room looked narrow and the arches led nowhere.
We furnished the living room along its length: a cream buttoned sofa, two dark armchairs and nesting timber coffee tables on a large rug, with plants by the windows. A timber dining table with rounded cream chairs sits under a large artwork. One arch now frames a small study with a desk and chair, and the bedrooms are styled in teal and navy with soft lamps.
