This single-level home has a formal lounge at the front, and a large tiled family room at the back with a wood heater, a dining area, a dark-toned kitchen and sliding doors to a covered outdoor area. The grey floor tiles and dark kitchen made the big family room feel cool and bare when it was empty.
We softened it with cream and warm timber. The formal lounge has two cream sofas, a marble-topped coffee table and a large patterned rug. In the family room, classic-style armchairs and a sofa sit around a timber coffee table near the wood heater, and a white dining table with upholstered chairs sits in front of the kitchen. The bedrooms are dressed in grey, black and sage green.
