This family home has a formal lounge on timber floors at the front, a large tiled family and dining area at the back, a timber kitchen and a covered outdoor area. With that much floor space and nothing in it, the rooms ran into each other and it was hard to tell the lounge from the family room.
We gave each zone its own look. The formal lounge has curved cream sofas, black coffee tables and a patterned rug; the family room is softer, with a jute rug and timber tables; and the dining table sits between the two. The bedrooms are dressed in different colours, and the outdoor area has a lounge setting so buyers see somewhere to sit outside.
