A near-new Mernda family home we staged
This near-new four-bedroom home has light timber-look floors, a front lounge, a family room that opens to the yard and a white kitchen. It was completely empty, and with pale floors and pale walls there was nothing to give the rooms any warmth or scale.
We furnished the front lounge and the family room as two distinct spaces, set the dining table beside the kitchen and dressed all the bedrooms. Warm neutrals and textured rugs soften the new finishes, and one bedroom has a mustard colour scheme so the bedrooms do not blur together.
