Southbank is almost all apartments, and at any time there are dozens for sale within a few streets of each other. Many have a similar floor plan, the same carpet and the same white walls, so the way an apartment is presented is often the only thing that sets it apart online.
Decor 2 Sell stages apartments across Southbank, the CBD and inner Melbourne with our own furniture and our own install team. We work with building managers on lift bookings and loading dock times.

A Southbank apartment we staged
This apartment has an open-plan living and dining room with corner windows looking out to the city towers, and carpeted bedrooms. With nothing in it, the main room looked like one long empty space, and it was hard to judge whether a sofa and a dining table would both fit.
We chose pieces sized for apartment living. A cream boucle sofa and two curved armchairs sit on a dark patterned rug, with a round metal coffee table that keeps the floor visible. A round dining table for four fits by the corner windows, so the view is the backdrop to the dining area. The bedrooms are dressed in layered linen, one in black and white and one in soft green.

Selling an apartment in Southbank
- Show that it fits. Buyers worry about whether a sofa, a dining table and a bed will fit. Furniture answers the question in the first photo.
- Stand out from the same floor plan. When several apartments in one building are listed together, the styled one gets the clicks.
- Keep the view clear. We use low furniture and keep the windows free, so the outlook stays the main feature.
Full staging for vacant Southbank homes
