A Sydenham unit we staged
This unit has a carpeted lounge, a tiled dining area with a sliding door to the courtyard, a timber-look kitchen and several bedrooms. The beige walls and older kitchen are in good condition, but with the rooms empty they made the home look dated.
We styled over the top of the warm tones, not against them. Two cream sofas, a ribbed timber coffee table and a large earthy artwork make the lounge feel current, with a fiddle-leaf fig in the corner. A timber dining table with black chairs gives the meals area some contrast. The bedrooms have a tall cream bedhead and neutral linen in the main, and navy and blue in the second.
